Vancouver Real Estate Market Statistics

Attached are the Sales and Listings Stats updated to October 28, 2013. Units sold in Greater Vancouver are on track to finish the month at around 2,700 units, not so spooky at all. October is typically stronger for sales than September, which we are seeing this year as well. North Vancouver and West Vancouver particularly are having strong months for sales. Overall balanced conditions are being seen with overall activity within the 10 year average. Total Active Listings continue to decline and New Listings coming on market are below levels we have seen over the last few years for October.

Summary of September 2013 so far:  

Greater Vancouver Real Estate All Residential:

Total Units Sold in so far in October is 2,234 (1,970 in October 2012 and 2,524 in September 2013) – should finish with close to 2,700 units sold.

Vancouver Westside Real Estate All Residential:

Total Units Sold in so far in October is 485 (420 in October 2012 and 556 in September 2013) – should finish with close to 600 units sold.

Vancouver Eastside Real EstateAll Residential:

Total Units Sold in so far in October is 231 (185 in October 2012 and 281 in September 2013) – should finish with close to 300 units sold.

North Vancouver Real EstateAll Residential:

Total Units Sold in so far in October is 182 (160 in October 2012 and 163 in September 2013) – should finish with close to 230 units sold.

West Vancouver Real EstateAll Residential:

Total Units Sold in so far in October is 93 (65 in October 2012 and 94 in September 2013) – should finish with close to 110 units sold.

Richmond Real EstateAll Residential:

Total Units Sold in so far in October is 278 (227 in October 2012 and 321 in September 2013) – should finish with close to 350 units sold.
