Vancouver Real Estate Market Statistics

Sales and listings Stats are attached as of October 14th. October is moving along at a similar pace to September. Once again, at a much higher level of sales compared to this time last year. But this is more at an average and normal pace – neither too high nor too low. Inventories of listings are continuing to drop as we move into a Fall with new listings coming on market below levels of previous years. With demand at a stronger level, properties coming on at today’s prices are moving quicker than they have in the past with multiple offers occurring in the market. Below is a summary of activity so far:

Greater Vancouver Real Estate 

1,023 Units Sold so far in October 2013, Sales to Listings Ratio is at 50% compared to 44% for October 2012. Total Active Listings currently are 16,825 (19,050 this date last year)

Vancouver West Real Estate

232 Units Sold so far in October 2013, Sales to Listings Ratio is at 51% compared to 42% for October 2012. Total Active Listings currently are 2,943 (3,474 this date last year)

Vancouver East Real Estate

101 Units Sold so far in October 2013, Sales to Listings Ratio is at 35% compared to 42% for October 2012. Total Active Listings currently are 1,295 (1,506 this date last year)

North Vancouver Real Estate

73 Units Sold so far in October 2013, Sales to Listings Ratio is at 41% compared to 48% for October 2012. Total Active Listings currently are 1,040 (1,169 this date last year)

West Vancouver Real Estate

47 Units Sold so far in October 2013, Sales to Listings Ratio is at 55% compared to 34% for October 2012. Total Active Listings currently are 743 (768 this date last year)

Richmond Real Estate

131 Units Sold so far in October 2013, Sales to Listings Ratio is at 57% compared to 41% for October 2012. Total Active Listings currently are 2,199 (2,579 this date last year)
